Hon Olapeju Kafilat Fasasi has reiterated that she is still the candidate of Labour party in Kosofe constituency 1 based on the electoral act signed into law by president Muhammad Buhari in February of this year. The politician stated in an interview that the fraudulent act of forging and illegally removing candidates name should be a thing of the past in Nigeria. The entrepreneur and avid politician who had earlier contested as a councilor under the same labour party in Kosofe in 2017, said that the electoral act clearly states that as long as INEC released her name as the genuine candidate of the party the only condition for replacement is if she voluntarily withdraws or dies, none of which has happened. Furthermore, she urged the party leadership, led by his excellency Mr Peter Obi to correct this anomaly in the interest of equity, fairness and justice, for the overall good of the party.

Don’t wait till last day before collecting your PVC – Hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin advises Nigerians

The authentic candidate for Labour party in Kosofe constituency 2 Lagos State has advised registered voters in the Kosofe not to wait till the last day before proceeeding to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). Hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin, gave the advice in an interview on Friday, he said that the collection of the PVCs for registered voters in Kosofe has commenced and encouraged everyone to go and collect his or her card at the INEC office. He said that the collection for those who newly registered in 2022 or applied for a transfer, and replacement of their cards started on Monday, while collection for old PVCs started since.   Hon Olapeju Kafilat Fasasi the Kosofe constituency 1 candidate of labour party in Lagos state has come to debunk the claim by a section of APC members that have infiltrated the party. In a press release she made on the 17th of December 2022, she dissociated herself completely from the rumour that obviously emanated from meeting held on Wednesday with Hon Akinwande Osikominu that she has agreed to step down for him. Today was eventful in Labour Party Kosofe as a reconciliatory meeting was held to reconcile all leaders towards the 2023 General election. Hon Akinwande Osikunminu and Hon Olapeju Kafilat Fasasi both agreed to set aside their personal differences and work towards the success of Labour Party in Kosofe and the country in general. Invest more in education, Olubando-Okoya advises government
