I am in court to reclaim my stolen mandate - Hon Olapeju Kafilat Fasasi


The Lagos state house of assembly candidate for Kosofe constituency 1 for Labour party, Hon Olapeju Kafilat Fasasi has urged all residents of Kosofe and especially her teaming supporters to keep the hope alive as she is in court to reclaim her stolen mandate.

In a statement released on Wednesday she assured them that victory is very much certain by Gods grace and the law court which is the last hope of people will ensure that the principle of equity, fairness and justice is applied in her case.

Furthermore, Hon Olapeju Kafilat Fasasi also retirated that her belief is based on the resently signed electoral act 2022, that says that the only condition that an INEC declared candidate of a political party can be substituted is if he or she voluntarily resigns or dies, non of which has transpired.

Finally, entrepreneur and graduate of Lagos State University Ojo, said that she has decided to take on this posture to ensure that the full weight of the law and justice is effected to put a permanent end to such irresponsible and illegal acts
