The Non Academic Staff Union "NASU" Kosofe unit Has assured the Labour party House of representatives candidate for Kosofe Hon Memunat Olubando Okoya of their full and total support during the forthcoming General elections.


In a communique signed by its Kosofe units Secretary comrade Tola Ayomade, the association also assured the popular philanthropist of their support of all labour party candidates across board and especially the presidential candidate of the party Peter Obi.


The association while eulogizing her numerous selfless services especially to the people of Kosofe and Lagos in general, referred to her as a political juggernaut, an epitome of humility and an icon per excellence


Comrade Tola Ayomade also described Hon Memunat Olubando Okoya as a highly versatile, detribalised, and an articulate gentlewoman par excellence; that has  throughout her life remained an indefatigable leader and manager of men and resources. 


He rounded up by saying that Kosofe NASU is indeed very proud of her immense contributions to humanity and to the lives of many youths and the working class both within Kosofe constituency and beyond that has been touched and prayed that Almighty God will grant her good health and the special grace to serve him and the people of Kosofe Local Government constituency in many returns.

In a Friday letter addressed to the Chairman of INEC, Mahmood Yakubu, the NLC accused the Chairman of the Labour Party, Mr Julius Abure, and his associates of planning an illegal convention in defiance of court orders. Ignore all machinations, Sola Ebiseni remains the Governorship candidate of Labour Party. Once again, the Labour Party Campaign Organisation is inundated with calls on the purported replacement of Chief Sola Ebiseni, our Governorship candidate, with Ayo Olorunfemi less than 24 hours to the Ondo State Governorship election tomorrow. Contrary to the false report, the candidacy of Ebiseni was the decision of the Party presided over by the National Working Committee led by Julius Abure of which Ayo Olorunfemi is a member after the latter, who was a placeholder, voluntarily withdrew his candidacy backed with sworn affidavit, an undisputed fact confirmed by the Courts.
