Voting is not only your right, it is your power -Hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin


Nigerians have been urged to use the power that has been embedded in them to change the narrative of the country.

This call came from the Lagos state house of assembly candidate in Kosofe constituency 2, hon okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin. 

The politician who said that having gone through the electoral tutelage of both the All progressive Congress and People's democratic party, by contesting for both councillorship and house of assembly in the past, is of the opinion that the lackadaisical attitude of Nigerians towards governance needs to change.

In furtherance to this, the politician cum social media influencer said that over the years Nigerians seem to have abandoned their rights and power to demand and choose for themselves good, competent and veritable leaders and rather prefering  to allow the worst amongst them to lead them.

He however said that he won't put too much blame on them especially as the electoral process has been fraudulently tilted in a manner that seem like their votes do not count.

Hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin, subsequently expressed his happiness at the turn of events with the introduction of the bimodal voters accreditation system, which has considerably transformed the electoral process by considerably reducing rigging and manipulations associated with collation centers, has results are now being uploaded unto the server right from the polling units.

Finally, he encouraged all Nigerians and especially the residents of Kosofe to come out enmass to express and fulfill their franchise by voting for the Labour party which obviously has better plans for all.
