Don’t wait till last day before collecting your PVC – Hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin advises Nigerians

The authentic candidate for Labour party in Kosofe constituency 2 Lagos State has advised registered voters in the Kosofe not to wait till the last day before proceeeding to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).


Hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin, gave the advice in an interview on Friday, he said that the collection of the PVCs for registered voters in Kosofe has commenced and encouraged everyone to go and collect his or her card at the INEC office.


He said that the collection for those who newly registered in 2022 or applied for a transfer, and replacement of their cards started on Monday, while collection for old PVCs started since.


Hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin also admonished all residents of Kosofe to get involved in the electoral system by asking questions and intensify their demand for good governance.


He further said that the power to reshape Nigeria is now in their hands with the new electoral process and introduction of BVAS machines which has inevitably eroded the evil of rigging associated with collation centers.


Finally, he adviced all Kosofe electorates to vote their conscience and avoid being suaded by temporary monetary gains which has over the years bedevilled our system and threatened to collapse our economy to the detriment of all.

Once again, the Labour Party Campaign Organisation is inundated with calls on the purported replacement of Chief Sola Ebiseni, our Governorship candidate, with Ayo Olorunfemi less than 24 hours to the Ondo State Governorship election tomorrow. Contrary to the false report, the candidacy of Ebiseni was the decision of the Party presided over by the National Working Committee led by Julius Abure of which Ayo Olorunfemi is a member after the latter, who was a placeholder, voluntarily withdrew his candidacy backed with sworn affidavit, an undisputed fact confirmed by the Courts.
