The period of propaganda, misinformation and fake news is over, Labour party Lagos, cautions APC and the federal government.


The labour party leadership in Lagos state has prompted the new government at the center to recognize and understand the reality that their usual tradition of misinformation, propaganda and fake news should be put to check in other to properly and correctly steer the country in the right and appropriate direction.

In a series of interviews carried out by PROJECT CHANGE NIGERAIA NEWS, The Omoba Adesoyin Olumide led state executives condemned the unhealthy and dangerous trend being witnessed in the polity since the inception of the new administration.

On his own part, the state caretaker chairman of the party, Omoba Adesoyin Olumide adviced the new government at the center to establish a more coordinated approach in it's information disemination as it is of immense importance and a critical factor in navigating the affairs of the country.

In addition, the public relations officer of the party, hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin on his part described and highlighted a few contradictory issues that emanated since the inception of the administration which he chronicled as being quite worrisome.

Hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin said one minute it was announced that certain individuals were designated as the new set of public officers, he specifically mentioned the name of Mr Dele Alake that was announced as the new spokesperson for the administration only for Mr Dele Alake to publicly denounce the appointment. 

Hon okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin added that it was however strange and a huge surprise  to see the same Mr Dele Alake addressing pressmen on behalf of the federal government with regards to their dialogue with the Nigeria Labour congress.

Furthermore, the state deputy caretaker chairman hon Kayode Dauda Yusuf condemned the confusion that has been generated by misformation and explicitly drew attention of Nigerians to the newspaper report that the federal government had harmonised the exchange rate only for the central bank of Nigeria to later issue a statement denouncing it.

In the final interview the state caretaker secretary of the party Chief Nnaemeka Anajemba counseled and recommended that proper channel and scrutiny should be employed before dishing out information to the public in order to avoid the obvious lapse that emanated from the pronouncement that ended the fuel subsidy in the country and suggested that the item should have been better handled.
