The new elected and inaugurated public officers in Nigeria have been stirred up to take extra care of the life of the citizens of the country.
This vociferous call was made by the legimate state executives of labour party in Lagos, led by Omoba Adesoyin Olumide on Tuesday in a press release to newsmen.
Omoba Adesoyin Olumide, who is the constitutionally recognized caretaker chairman of Labour party in Lagos state asserted that the sole meaning of life is to serve humanity and not to destroy it, depicting it as the first and only legitimate object of government.
Thereafter, in his own remark the secretary of the party in the state chief Nnaemeka Anajemba counselled the newly public office olders and adviced them to focus more on improving the quality of life and living standard of Nigerians, adding that good government only happens when the people working in it do their jobs, and do them well.
In addition, the public relations officer of the party in the state, honourable Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin propounded and admonished the new set of leaders to think outside the box by avoiding the temptation of being selfish in their approach to governance but rather ensure that their actions and decisions are tailored towards the collective good of all Nigerians.
Finally, honourable Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin expounded that the quality of ones life will be determined by the quality of ones contribution, he concluded by saying that when you work to improve the lives of others, your life improves automatically
