Something cannot emerge from nothing. - New Labour party caretaker chairman, Omoba Adesoyin Olumide
The new caretaker committee chairman for labour party in Lagos state Omoba Adesoyin Olumide has described the continued display of impunity by the former Lagos state caretaker committee chairman of labour party Mrs Ekong as detestable, deplorable and despicable.
Reports have it that Mrs Dayo Ekong whose tenure as the state caretaker committee chairman expired on the 10th of April 2023 called a meeting of all former state, local government and ward executives while still ascribing herself as the state chairman of the party.
Omoba Adesoyin Olumide described this level desperation as quite understandable, especially as it is coming from someone that is well known by all labour party members to have bought the position with the sum of N5 million from the restrained National chairman of labour party barrister Julius Abure.
Furthermore Omoba Adesoyin Olumide added that It is not possible for something to come into being from absolutely nothing as he wondered how someone whose tenure had expired and has been constitutional replaced will still be parading herself as the state chairman of the party.
In conclusion, The new caretaker committee chairman of labour party encouraged all devoted well meaning members of labour party in Lagos not be discouraged with all the shenanigans but remain steadfast as the current leadership of the party will leave no stone unturned to steer the party on the right part.
Omoba Adesoyin Olumide finally sighted the renewed vigor and hope that the presidential tribunal will restore the stolen mandate of the party to it's leader his excellency Peter Obi soonest.
