The publicity Secretary of Labour party in Lagos state Hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin has come out to condemn the public assault that was metted on the acting national chairman of Labour party Alhaji Lamidi Apapa and the other national working committee members of the party today at the ongoing presidential election tribunal in Abuja.

In a now viral video it was observed that certain Nigerians who were obviously sponsored by Barrister Julius Abure and his cronies were seen behaving in an uncivilized manner.

what's more hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin in his statement said Alhaji Lamidi Apapa obviously appeared in court today primarily because he had been accused in the past of abandoning the case of our principal his excellency Peter obi, and said that Alhaji Lamidi Apapa absence before now has now been vindicated with the shabby treatment he received today in court.

Hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin further said that our party prides itself as the next big thing in Nigeria. The party to look up to positively change the countrys narrative, yet we are publicly flouting court orders.

Furthermore, hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin urged the party stakeholders to put an immediate end to this very dangerous trend, as if not properly managed can deteriorate into some form of violence, adding that it is widely known that no single individual or group has the monopoly of violence.

In addition, hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin included that the labour party idealogy is about social justice, and the attitude of a few Nigerians at the court today is in sharp contrast to this ideals. He added that social justice cannot be attained by violence. Violence kills what it intends to create.

Furtherance to the above he admonished all labour party members to remain calm as the truth on any issue will always come out in the end, no matter how hard anyone tries to hide it or stop it. Lies are just a temporary delay to the inevitable.

Hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin then concluded that sometimes the best thing one can do is keep the mouth shut and the eyes open. The truth will always prevail at the end
