Labour party still remains the best option for all Nigerians - Omoba Adesoyin Olumide

Nigerians have been urged not to miss out on something that could be great just because it could also be difficult. These words of encouragement came from Omoba Adesoyin Olumide the Labour party caretaker chairman in Lagos state.

Omoba Adesoyin Olumide made this assertion while addressing newsmen in commemorating the inauguration of new administration into offices at all levels of governance in Nigeria on Monday.

Thereafter, Omoba Adesoyin Olumide added that it has become crystal clear to discerning minds that the only political party that means well and with good intentions for Nigerians is Labour party and urged them to remain committed to the ideals and principles of the party.

Along with the above, Omoba Adesoyin Olumide declared that he has the utmost trust in the countrys judiciary as the last hope of the people and encouraged all Labour party members in the country to keep all hopes alive as the stolen mandate of the party especially with regards to that of it's principal Peter Obi will soon be restored.

Omoba Adesoyin Olumide added that the change of batton at the presidential level is quite natural due to the need to avoid the existence of a vacuum in government.

In his own remark, Hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin the public relations officer of the party in Lagos state congratulated Nigerians on the occasion and transition to new administration and urged Nigerians not to forget the antecedents of the other political partys exhorting them to resist the temptation of taking their eyes off the goal of a better nation which can only be achieved under the labour party of Nigeria.

In a Friday letter addressed to the Chairman of INEC, Mahmood Yakubu, the NLC accused the Chairman of the Labour Party, Mr Julius Abure, and his associates of planning an illegal convention in defiance of court orders. Once again, the Labour Party Campaign Organisation is inundated with calls on the purported replacement of Chief Sola Ebiseni, our Governorship candidate, with Ayo Olorunfemi less than 24 hours to the Ondo State Governorship election tomorrow. Contrary to the false report, the candidacy of Ebiseni was the decision of the Party presided over by the National Working Committee led by Julius Abure of which Ayo Olorunfemi is a member after the latter, who was a placeholder, voluntarily withdrew his candidacy backed with sworn affidavit, an undisputed fact confirmed by the Courts.
