Labour party in Lagos state condenms the act of name calling by the former state chairman.
The Labour party in Lagos has come out to condemn the now viral act of referring to some leaders of the party as cult members and moles.
The new caretaker committee that is led by a popular grassroot politician Omoba Olumide Adesoyin adviced those behind the dastardly act and who are obviously sponsored by the Julius Abure loyalist in Lagos that is being misguided and misdirected by the former Lagos state caretaker chairman pastor Mrs Adedayo Ekong.
While speaking to newsmen on Saturday Omoba Olumide Adesoyin demanded for a public apology from the pastor Mrs Adedayo Ekongs team whose tenure expired as the caretaker committee chairman on the 10th of April 2023.
Furthermore, he wondered how the former chairman's team could descend so low to attempt to bring a political party that has contributed so much to her influence, growth and development to a position of disrepute.
In addition, he asked why he is being described as a cultist and a mole after putting in so much effort to bring the labour party to unbelievable level of political reckoning at the last elections.
Morever he elaborated further by saying that he who lives in a glass house should not throw stones, especially as the romance of pastor Dayo Ekong and the gubernatorial candidate of the party in the lasts election Gbadebo Vivour Rhodes with the people's democratic party and that of it's leader in Lagos Chief Olabode George is now public knowledge, and condemned the act of providing election funds to members of people's democratic party and booth party in all local governments in the state at the detriment of loyal labour party members.
Finally, he concluded by saying that it is now in the media space that the state chairman of people's democratic party Phillip aivoji indicted a leader in their party and former minister Dr bimbo Ogunkelu to share labour party money.
Mr Aivoji was quoted to have said that Dr Ogunkelu directed him to share labour party money to the tune of $5,000 to each LGA Chairman in people's democratic party, while some working committee members got $2,000 and Non-working committee members got $1,000 each.Labour party in Lagos state condenms the act of name calling by the former state state chairman.
