You can't just wake up one morning and order the killing of innocent youths at lekki toll gate and expect that life will go on as if nothing happened - Hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin

A politician and convener of project change Nigeria advocacy group, hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin has described the event that ensued in Lagos on the 20th of October 2023 ,wherein young Nigerians came out to express their grievances and dissatisfaction with the condition of living in country in a peaceful protest but whose life was instead cut short by the government in power as a bitter pill to swallow.

Hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin who is also an Islamic cleric, while addressing newsmen on Thursday said that the only way to describe such act of intense desperation is the obvious lack of fear of God by the perpetrators of the dastardly act.

Furthermore, the popular grassroot politician stated that the increase in political attacks and violence is really unnecessary if politicians are sincere about serving the people noting that only almighty God can give real and genuine power that will bring forth true and legitimate happiness.

Hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin also recall the killing of a people's Democratic party stalwart Funsho Williams that most people believed would have been the governor of Lagos state as part of the tool being employed to dissuade genuine Nigerians from contesting for public office because of the fear of getting killed.

The politician subsequently called on good spirited Nigerians to speak out against this ungodly and evil act as if it is allowed to fester it will bring up no good to anybody both in the short and long run.
