This urgent briefing becomes imperative because we strongly believe that the good people of Kosofe local government and Nigerians in general should be aware of the antics and dirty politicking of some moles and party hijackers in our great Labour Party. 


The is to inform the good people of kosofe, stakeholders, INEC and everyone residing or doing business in Kosofe that there is a constitutionally constituted Executive Committee of Labour Party in Kosofe Local government which is instrumental in carrying out their statutory responsibilities as led by Prince Prof. Ifagbemi Awamaridi in midwifing the birth of the then Presidential Aspirant of Labour party – HE. Peter OBI 


It is in line with the above reality and fact that we are shocked that some political jobbers and agents have been trying to hijack Labour Party in Lagos State based on their sponsor and are planning to inaugurate illegal Excos in Labour Party for kosofe local government in Alausa. 


We want the public to refrain these hijackers as all the 10 wards in Labour Party are constitutionally constituted with each having their Excos.


Thank you very much as we will continue to inform the public about any further antics from this hijackers that are hell bent on weakening the Labour Party and by extension the candidacy of All Kosofe Candidates down to the State and Presidential Candidate- HE. Peter Obi.

THIS IS WHY INEC STOPPED RECOGNISING ABURE AS THE NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF LABOUR PARTY The Nigeria Labour Congress has written the Independent National Electoral Commission, urging it to halt any support for the national convention of the Labour Party scheduled for March 27, 2024. In a Friday letter addressed to the Chairman of INEC, Mahmood Yakubu, the NLC accused the Chairman of the Labour Party, Mr Julius Abure, and his associates of planning an illegal convention in defiance of court orders. Ignore all machinations, Sola Ebiseni remains the Governorship candidate of Labour Party. Once again, the Labour Party Campaign Organisation is inundated with calls on the purported replacement of Chief Sola Ebiseni, our Governorship candidate, with Ayo Olorunfemi less than 24 hours to the Ondo State Governorship election tomorrow. Contrary to the false report, the candidacy of Ebiseni was the decision of the Party presided over by the National Working Committee led by Julius Abure of which Ayo Olorunfemi is a member after the latter, who was a placeholder, voluntarily withdrew his candidacy backed with sworn affidavit, an undisputed fact confirmed by the Courts.
