Gomez Congratulates New Lagos PDP LGA chairmen, says it's a fresh beginning for the party.

Prince Adewale Gomez the gubernatorial candidate of the people's democratic Party in Lagos has congratulated the newly inaugurated local government chairmen of the party in the state.


In his congratulatory message, the Adaba of Lagos as he his popularly called said that "the occasion marks another great leap for Lagos PDP towards the actualisation of the iya Yi to leko(Enough of the suffering in Lagos state) agenda of our party". He noted that even though the mantra originated from the stable of the Wale Gomez Movement, it perfectly captured the yearnings and aspirations of the generality of the people of the state.


Furthermore, he noted that the 20 captains(LGA chairmen) are saddled with the huge responsibility of leading the battle for the soul of Lagos state come 2023, as they are being inaugurated and sworn into office today. 


He added, that the occasion become very necessary in view of the resently released electoral calendar for the next general elections. He further commended the caretaker committee in the state for the timely and bold step


Finally, he enjoined the newly inaugurated chairmen to put in their best possible towards actualizing the dreams and aspirations of the party and that of all lagosians.

In a Friday letter addressed to the Chairman of INEC, Mahmood Yakubu, the NLC accused the Chairman of the Labour Party, Mr Julius Abure, and his associates of planning an illegal convention in defiance of court orders. Once again, the Labour Party Campaign Organisation is inundated with calls on the purported replacement of Chief Sola Ebiseni, our Governorship candidate, with Ayo Olorunfemi less than 24 hours to the Ondo State Governorship election tomorrow. Contrary to the false report, the candidacy of Ebiseni was the decision of the Party presided over by the National Working Committee led by Julius Abure of which Ayo Olorunfemi is a member after the latter, who was a placeholder, voluntarily withdrew his candidacy backed with sworn affidavit, an undisputed fact confirmed by the Courts.
