Bayelsa gov’ship: I won’t support any candidate outside restoration team — Dickson

The Governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson, has insisted that he will not support any candidate outside his Restoration Team on the platform of the PDP for the November 16, governorship election in the state. The PDP governorship primary in the state has been fixed for September 3. There were 21 PDP gubernatorial aspirants in Bayelsa but only eight of them belonging to the Restoration Team purchased the form and now undergoing screening ahead of the primary. These included the Deputy Governor, Rear Admiral Gboriobogha John Jonah (rtd); the immediate past Secretary to the Bayelsa State Government (SSG) Barr. OAOE Foundation Caters to Aged Persons across Nigeria, Builds a Home

Determined to cater to the needs of the aged and retirees in the society despite the harsh economy, Olori Aderonke Omolola Erinle (OAOE) Foundation is providing financial assistance and emotional support to the vulnerable with a home for their comfort. The foundation made this known at the media parley to flag off the official launch of the Foundation on September 14 in Victoria Island Lagos while building a sustainable home that offers value and pulls in the resources. According to the Founder, Mrs. Aderonke Erinle, the Olori, OAOE foundation was an idea and thought borne out of the passion she has for the elderly. “Having watched my late mother, whom I took over from, been there for my grandparents, tending and attending to their daily needs, that became part of me,” she recalled.
