Advocacy group condemn jungle justice in Cross River State

 The PROJECT CHANGE NIGERIA ADVOCACY GROUP,  has written to draw the attention of Nigerians and the federal government in particular to the menace of mob action, which is becoming almost a daily occurrence in Calabar Cross Rivers State. The group in a communique on Friday wrote that if this societal ill is not immediately nibbed in the bud, it stood a chance of threatening the fabric of the society as a lot of innocent lives may be consumed by this over zealous act. It noted that only law enforcement agents are positioned to arrest and enforce the law on offenders. In an investigation conducted by the group it was highlighted that resent clamour by a section of the populace calling on the Governor,  Mr Ben Ayade to contest the gubernatorial elections in 2019 or face mob action might have fuelled this nefarious act. ADVOCACY GROUP CALLS ON FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO RESOLVE ETHNIC CRISIS

The PROJECT CHANGE NIGERIA advocacy group has called on the federal government to call a stakeholders meeting to address the re occurring issue of inter ethnic rivalry in the country. The group noted that, this round table meeting has become inevitable in other to douse the ethnic tension that has taken up new heights in light of the call for secession by the Igbos in the country and the recent call by arewa youths giving the Igbo 3 months ultimatum to vacate the northern part of the country. In a communique on Thursday the Project Change Nigeria group which is predominantly a youth based organisation with members from all works of life, have also called on the federal government to release the report of the last constitutional conference with a view to ratifying its recommendation seeing it as a solution to the many agitations of Nigerians. #NoToFuelPriceIncrease GROUP ADVOCATES OVER THE PROPOSED INCREMENT OF FUEL PRICE

The PROJECT CHANGE NIGERIA ADVOCACY GROUP has come out to condemn the senate over its attempt to increase the price of fuel, as it sees it as being insensitivity  to the plight of Nigerians, especially as the recession that has been causing great level of hardship is yet to abate. In a communique issued on Friday, they called on the senate and the executive reminding them, that they are public servants and their main role is to represent the masses and not to punish masses . They are expected implement policies that will benefit the masses and not that which will be detrimental. The group also opined that If the proposed policy must be implement, Then there be must increase in the standard of living for the people.
