#NoToFuelPriceIncrease GROUP ADVOCATES OVER THE PROPOSED INCREMENT OF FUEL PRICE

The PROJECT CHANGE NIGERIA ADVOCACY GROUP has come out to condemn the senate over its attempt to increase the price of fuel, as it sees it as being insensitivity  to the plight of Nigerians, especially as the recession that has been causing great level of hardship is yet to abate.

In a communique issued on Friday, they called on the senate and the executive reminding them, that they are public servants and their main role is to represent the masses and not to punish masses .

They are expected implement policies that will benefit the masses and not that which will be detrimental.

The group also opined that If the proposed policy must be implement, Then there be must increase in the standard of living for the people.

It also called on the legislators to make sacrifice by imputing 5% levy on their salaries and allowances and that of the executives
