Group commends F.G over the 29 man committee on minimum wage and advocates for price control on goods....

The Project Change Nigeria Advocacy is commending the Federal Government for constituting the 29-man committee which is set to look into the minimum wage issue in the country.

In a communique issued on Thursday, the group however advised that the government should also set an effective policy for price control for goods and services in other to curb rising inflation in the country economy....

The provision of relevant infrastructure to ease the burden of trade and movement of goods and personnel was also emphasised, as it is seen as a necessary tool for economic development.

In a Friday letter addressed to the Chairman of INEC, Mahmood Yakubu, the NLC accused the Chairman of the Labour Party, Mr Julius Abure, and his associates of planning an illegal convention in defiance of court orders. Once again, the Labour Party Campaign Organisation is inundated with calls on the purported replacement of Chief Sola Ebiseni, our Governorship candidate, with Ayo Olorunfemi less than 24 hours to the Ondo State Governorship election tomorrow. Contrary to the false report, the candidacy of Ebiseni was the decision of the Party presided over by the National Working Committee led by Julius Abure of which Ayo Olorunfemi is a member after the latter, who was a placeholder, voluntarily withdrew his candidacy backed with sworn affidavit, an undisputed fact confirmed by the Courts.
