Kaduna lecturer accused of attacking El-Rufai turns self to Police

Dr. John Danfulani, a lecturer at ​the Kaduna State University, KASU, accused of verbally abusing the state government has turned himself to the police for questioning.

 A source close to the lecturer told DAILY POST Friday evening that Danfulani was immediately detained. It was learnt that the lecturer was grilled for the comments attributed to him for several hours. Our correspondent also gathered that the lecturer may be charged to court next week.

 It would be recalled that the Kaduna State Police Commissioner, Umar Kofar-Naisa, had ordered the Vice Chancellor of KASU, Professor Willaims Quirix, to produce Dr. Danfulani.

 However, the University authorities since January 8, 2016, suspended the Political Science lecturer after issuing him a query earlier.
