It is time to get our acts together by choosing our leaders wisely, as everything connects to everything else - Hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin

A true leader has been described as someone people follow not because they have to but because they want to. This attribute was narrated yesterday at the sidelines of Labour party Kosofe ward J campaign rally by hon Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin.

The popular grassroot politician in an interview with pressmen encouraged Nigerians not to be detered by the current situation of the country in his words he said that every challenge in life is actually nothing more than a chance to make things better. He said that when some people see difficulties others see opportunities.

Also, honourable Okufuwa Samad Oluwatoyin added that truly not everything that is faced can be changed but nothing can be changed until it is faced, and urged Nigerians not to shy away from the issues confronting the nation with the usual position that their votes will not count hence they seem to be held back by a seemingly hopeless situation.

In conclusion, he said that life is about change as nothing ever stays the same which now brings to fore the important of all to vote wisely and choose good, competent and God fearing leaders that will genuinely care about the wellbeing and welfare of the governed as everything connects to everything else.

In a Friday letter addressed to the Chairman of INEC, Mahmood Yakubu, the NLC accused the Chairman of the Labour Party, Mr Julius Abure, and his associates of planning an illegal convention in defiance of court orders. Once again, the Labour Party Campaign Organisation is inundated with calls on the purported replacement of Chief Sola Ebiseni, our Governorship candidate, with Ayo Olorunfemi less than 24 hours to the Ondo State Governorship election tomorrow. Contrary to the false report, the candidacy of Ebiseni was the decision of the Party presided over by the National Working Committee led by Julius Abure of which Ayo Olorunfemi is a member after the latter, who was a placeholder, voluntarily withdrew his candidacy backed with sworn affidavit, an undisputed fact confirmed by the Courts.
