OBIDIENTS IN LAGOS STATE: TIME TO UNITE THE PARTY IS NOW. By Chief Louis Azode

The exceptionally revealing post by the indomitable and forthright Prof Bolaji O. Akinyemi, Nigeria's  Former External Affairs Minister, on the devious plots, plans, schemes and underground maneuvers of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) jabs to frustrate, disorganize, disarray the efforts of the Labour Party is most timely. 


In Labour Party, our efforts shall not be in vain in Jesus name, Amen.


For several months, Lagos State Labour Party has been engrossed in very intense and intractable political wranglings to the extent that no one knows the real gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party in Lagos.


There has been series push and shove between Prof Ifamamridi and one  Mr Salako. 


Incidentally, Salako is being perceived in many quarters as an APC mole,  a job man planted by Bat 🦇 to destroy Labour Party in Lagos State.


The National Leadership of the Labour Party has an urgent task to mobilize and move very quickly and swiftly, weigh in to resolve this problem before it turns Lagos State branch of Labour Party into a war zone, as to who is the actual governorship candidate of Labour Party in the state. 


Obviously, APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu who had held sway in Lagos State for three decades would not like his monotony of stranglehold in the state to come to an end. 


BAT will go all out to set booby traps and use his enormous Bourdillon Bullion Vans slush cash and stooges to make sure that Labour Party remains in intractable crisis until next year 2023 election. 


In disarray Labour Party can not afford to be fragmented, not even at the ward level of any state. Hell, no no.


OBIDIENT must Not be obituary in Lagos State or any state, nor federal.


 APC is at breakneck to ruin Labour Party in Lagos State. This ugly spectacle must be contained, rather swiftly.


Foreseeing eminent defeat in Lagos State APC will do all sorts to disorganize Labour Party, to ensure that Alpha-Beta  Lootery of the state goes on unhindered.


 Kudos to the eminent Prof Bolaji O. Akinyemi for bringing this matter to the front burner so that the squabble will be tackled and resolved rather swiftly and amicably, without further loss of time.


There is also the Gbadebo RHODES-VIVOUR angle, claiming to be a governorship candidate of the same state. 


Who is the true Labour Party  flag bearer in Lagos?


This crisis if not nipped in the bud will truly turn OBIDIENT MOVEMENT to Obituary in Lagos State but God forbid such evil.


Let's get it right now.

In a Friday letter addressed to the Chairman of INEC, Mahmood Yakubu, the NLC accused the Chairman of the Labour Party, Mr Julius Abure, and his associates of planning an illegal convention in defiance of court orders. Ignore all machinations, Sola Ebiseni remains the Governorship candidate of Labour Party. Once again, the Labour Party Campaign Organisation is inundated with calls on the purported replacement of Chief Sola Ebiseni, our Governorship candidate, with Ayo Olorunfemi less than 24 hours to the Ondo State Governorship election tomorrow. Contrary to the false report, the candidacy of Ebiseni was the decision of the Party presided over by the National Working Committee led by Julius Abure of which Ayo Olorunfemi is a member after the latter, who was a placeholder, voluntarily withdrew his candidacy backed with sworn affidavit, an undisputed fact confirmed by the Courts.
