I Never Said We Are Confused On Who Will Sign 2017 Budget – Lai Mohammed

Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has debunked media reports credited to him that the Presidency is still confused about who would assent to the 2017 budget even with Acting President Yemi Osinbajo in charge of the country’s affairs.


Media reports had quoted the Minister as saying that the presidency is still unsure of who will assent to the budget as well as swearing-in of two Ministers-designate.

However, speaking with our correspondent, the Minister denies the claim. According to him, all he said that the issue of who will sign the budget will be addressed once the budget is sent to the presidency.

Ignore all machinations, Sola Ebiseni remains the Governorship candidate of Labour Party. Once again, the Labour Party Campaign Organisation is inundated with calls on the purported replacement of Chief Sola Ebiseni, our Governorship candidate, with Ayo Olorunfemi less than 24 hours to the Ondo State Governorship election tomorrow. Contrary to the false report, the candidacy of Ebiseni was the decision of the Party presided over by the National Working Committee led by Julius Abure of which Ayo Olorunfemi is a member after the latter, who was a placeholder, voluntarily withdrew his candidacy backed with sworn affidavit, an undisputed fact confirmed by the Courts.
