My Sister’s Desperation Made Her Have Sex With My Husband

Image
For the four years Lisa was married to Lekan, she tried all she could to get pregnant. At first she thought it was due to her reproductive organs malfunctioning. After series of tests, it was Lekan’s turn to have his fertility investigated. It was an awful blow to the couple when he got the news he had a low sperm count.  “Lisa was devastated,” Funke, her elder sister and a mother of three children had said after she got the news: “I wish I could do something to help my sister…” “Do something like what?” “Get another man to perform the magic her husband couldn’t?” A few months later, Funke had come to me, a bit angry and confused.  “Lisa came for dinner last night with Lekan,” she said. “I was in the kitchen sorting out the dirty plates when Lekan crept up behind me, pressing hard against my back, he whispered: ‘Don’t you realise how much I want you?’ Horrified, I pushed him away and rushed back to the others. I’d thought that would be the end of it, but it...

The Truth About Our Battle With Davido, The Adeleke's Over Child Trafficking, By Dele Momodu

Image
Dele Momodu on his Instagram page explains his role in Davido’s baby saga. In september 2015, I got a call from Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, a long time friend, telling me his son had fathered a baby girl with my cousin, Sophia Momodu.  I rejoiced with him as any reasonable soul will do. He apologised that he had not called all along because he wasn’t sure if Sophie’s baby was going to turn out a fake one like that of two others who had turned up at his doorstep. But mercifully, according to Dr. Adeleke, Sophie’s baby passed the DNA test by over 98 per cent and he was elated. I congratulated him again as proud grandfather.  He said he would like to meet me with Sophie since Sophie’s dad, Uncle Jibola Momodu, passed on years ago and Sophie mentioned me as her cousin. I had known about Sophie’s baby through her first cousin Ruth Abraham and had called to congratulate her. I was happy when she sent me pictures of the baby and other romantic pictures wi...

Music star, Davido, has apologised to Dele Momodu and his fans for his conduct over the baby abduction drama which has rocked his plans and been in the news since Tuesday.  “Mr. Dele Momodu I Apologise but …U didn’t have to…,” the artist, who had engaged the Ovation Magazine publisher in a war of words, tweeted awhile ago.  The music star and his sister, Ashely, had on Tuesday been stopped from travelling to Dubai with the child by immigration officials at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in response to a petition by Momodu that the child had been abducted.  Despite the apology, the artist insisted the allegations against him were untrue, saying, “All these lies being put on me … no be today … I have so much to say but in respect for my daughter I will keep quiet … I apologise.”  He thanked his supporters and those “bashing” him, adding, “The truth will come out! Even if I don’t keep her, she will grow up to know I fought for her.” So...

Buhari’s media chat exposed him as undemocratic, tyranical – PDP

Image
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has claimed that the Presidential Media Chat hosted by President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday exposed his undemocratic character as an unrepentant tyrant who have no regard for the rule of law and the citizens of the country.   The National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, in a statement on Thursday, stated that Buhari confirmed his partisanship in the over hyped anti-graft war by publicly absolving his party and ministers of any corrupt practices.  The statement reads, “Whilst we restate our respect for the person and office of the President, we note that President Buhari bared his true colours to the world as an unrepentant tyrant. Today, the world is no longer in doubt as to who is behind the prevailing recklessness, abuse of rights of citizens and outright flouting of judicial pronouncements by security agencies.  “A situation where the President openly pronounced persons facing trial guilty and sanct...

BREAKING NEWS: APC’s ‘Mama Taraba’ Loses At Court Of Appeal Court

Image
Aisha Alhassan, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Taraba state governorship election, has lost at the Appeal Court in her bid to unseat the incumbent governor of Taraba, Darius Ishaku. On Thursday, the appeal court sitting in Abuja ruled that the Alhassan had no locus standi – the right or capacity to appear in a court – to question the decision of the PDP. It overruled the November 7 verdict of the election tribunal which declared Alhassan as governor. The Abdul Aboki-led five-man panel ruled that the PDP fielded Ishaku and he was accepted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), with no complaints. INEC announced PDP’s Darius Ishaku as winner with 369,318 votes defeating APC’s Al-hassan who polled 275,984 at the ballot in April.  Though Aboki admitted the testimony of the INEC officer, who testified that the PDP primaries violated sections 85 and 87 of the electoral law, he said the APC had no locus standi on the...

He also apologised to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan and Igbo elders for “some uncomplimentary things” he said about them. The 48-year-old pro-Biafran agitation leader, who is still unapologetic about his demand for a Biafra, has been in the custody of the Department of State Services since his arrest in Lagos on October 14, 2015.
