Nigerian pop star, Terry G sing songs of praises for being alive to see yet another day.  The ‘Free Madness’ singer was involved in a terrible car crash at about 6am this morning in Lagos. The accident reportedly happened on his way back from a night club between the 1st and 2nd roundabout in Lekki, Lagos and his new Range Rover Sport is completely written off.  This is similar to the kind of car crash he had 5 years ago when his car (a Toyota Camry) ran into a road demarcation around Chemiron, close to Sunday Market, in Ogba, Lagos. The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB has warned those who are claiming to be representing them, including the members of Ohaneze Ndigbo and its youth wing Ohaneze Youths Wing, in negotiating for the release of its leader and Director of Radio Biafra, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu to stop such move, that nobody speaks or represent them, unless such person or persons are designated officers of IPOB worldwide. I won’t pay N5,000 to those who don’t work – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has ruled out the possibility of his government paying N5,000 monthly allowance to unemployed youths in the country as promised by his party, the All Progressives Congress, ahead of the 2015 presidential election. Buhari’s new position is contrary to the stand of many of his officials who have at different times claimed that the fund to implement the promise had already been provided for in the 2016 Budget currently before the National Assembly. The President who is currently on a one-week official visit to Saudi Arabia and Qatar however made it clear in Saudi Arabia during an interactive session that he could not be paying those who do not work. The governor said: “Indeed, my becoming a governor can be attributed to what I gained and learnt from this school. We must come together, all of us to ensure that the vision of the establishment of the school must not die. ENYEAMA, EMENIKE TO GET EAGLES RECALL….

Samson Siasia, who is one of the coaches appointed by NFF as a caretaker coach for Egypt clash has revealed plans to recall Vincent Enyeama and Emmanuel Emenike to the national team.  The two football stars announced their retirement from Super Eagles after reported clash with former coach, Sunday Oliseh. Speaking to the press on Friday, Siasia said; “It is an emergency assignment. If they (the NFF) say we should do the rescue job, we have to do it for the sake of Nigeria.  We will go for the best legs. I mean players with commitment, to ensure that we qualify ahead of Egypt. We will look at the players we believe can help the team, including Vincent Enyeama and Emmanuel Emenike who retired from the team last year.  The coaching crew will sit down and make up the list, and the Egyptians must fall as far as we are now in charge.”

3SC hands MFM first defeat of the season

Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu of Mountain of Fire Ministries (MFM) Football Club of Lagos could not believe his team’s 0-3 loss to Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan. He described the result as disappointing and unexpected. Wasiu Jimoh took the league newcomers to the laundry thrice in the 4th, 19th and 36th minutes of the match.  “I felt disappointed with the match because it was not in tandem with our preparation for this match. We came for the best result but lost it.
